Acer pal. 'Baby Miko'

Baby Miko is one of more than 200 varieties of Acer palmatum. In spring, the wrinkled leaves are fire-red, later changing to bleached pink-red. From mid-summer onwards the leaves are more blue-green with red veins. Deciduous shrub that can reach a height of more than 5 metres. The leaves are very deeply incised. An important characteristic of all Acer palmatum varieties is that the leaves turn a beautiful shade of orange and red in the autumn. Around April, clusters of small, reddish purple flowers appear. These flowers are, however, very inconspicuous.
