Calamintha nepeta

Calamintha nepeta is a deciduous aromatic perennial with a bushy, broad habit. The leaves are greyish green, aromatic, finely toothed and approx. 3 cm long. From July to September, this mountain thyme blooms in a loose, airy manner with purple-pink to lilac-blue flowers grouped in clusters of 15. This plant likes a position in full sun or semi shade and does well in almost any well-drained soil.
