Alchemilla mollis

Alchemilla mollis is a small deciduous perennial with a creeping, ground-covering habit. Both the leaves and flowers are decorative, flowering from May to September with small, yellow-green flowers. The leaves are toothed, fan-shaped and grey-green in colour, the upper side is slightly hairy, the underside densely hairy. It prefers the sun or semi-shade, does well in any type of soil and once established is reasonably drought-tolerant. If it is cut back annually after flowering, it will repeat its flowering period on a smaller scale.
