Calamagrostis acutiflora 'overdam' is a deciduous, compactly growing ornamental grass with narrow and stiff, slightly drooping green leaves with a white to creamy-white edge. This variegated plumose grass blooms from the end of June to August with decorative purple-brown flower spikes, which turn an attractive golden colour in the autumn.
