Physocarpus opulifolius "Dart"s Gold" is een middelgrote bladverliezende blaasspirea. De bladeren zijn heldergeel tot goudgeel en evolueren naar geelgroen in de volle zomer om in de herfst geel tot bronskleurig af te vallen. Deze blaasspirea bloeit van mei tot juli met witte tot rozewitte geurende bloemen in tuilen die bijen en vlinders aantrekken. Physocarpus op. "dart"s gold" houdt van een standplaats in volle zon of gedeeltelijke schaduw.
