Prunus laurocerasus "etna", ook wel laurierkers genoemd is een middelgrote wintergroene sierstruik met een compact opgaande, dichtvertakte vorm. Hij bloeit in april en mei met kleine witte, tot roomwitte geurende bloempjes in opstaande trossen en heeft grote, glanzende, ovale en langwerpige donkergroene bladeren die bronskleurig ontluiken. Hij is bruikbaar als formele haag en lokt vlinders en bijen.
