Buddleja davidii "border beauty", medium-sized, richly flowering and deciduous butterfly bush with pendulous branches, long pointed dark green leaves and woolly white underside. The maximum height and width is 3 metres. Inflorescence: purple flower panicles. This buddleja likes dry, not too rich soil. All types of soil can be tolerated, from acid to calcareous. Prune briefly in spring, after the frost period. This buddleja is also sea wind tolerant and resistant to air pollution, which makes it interesting for use in an urban environment.
