Chaenomeles sup. 'Crimson and Gold'

Chaenomeles x superba 'crimson and Gold', this ornamental quince species is small-growing and has a low, broad growth form. blooms in early spring (March, April), with beautiful bright red flowers on the naked perennial wood.
